The Dr Pepper Prophecies

I read The Dr Pepper Prophecies by Jennifer Gilby Roberts. I had to stay up late last night to finish it. I’ve read a bunch the Janet Ivanovich Stephanie Plum stories. (One for the money, etc.) The Dr Pepper Prophecies is in the same lighthearted tone. Mel Parker is a lovable misfit who we want to get the guy, keep her job and eat the copious amounts of chocolate we can’t.

The Dr Pepper Prophecies is written in U.K. English - much like the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling. People used to American English will still have no problems following the story and it is a great read.

I hope Ms. Roberts writes more stories about Mel Parker. This story is priced less than a soda and lasts much longer. In my opinion, 99c is too low for an 80,000 word story. Get it now!
